The AEHE recognizes excellence in academic and scientific contribution together with contribution to the profession by awarding annually the outstanding academic achievement prize to economic historians among the members of the association. This prize aims to assess the importance of their contribution to the scientific knowledge and the prestige of the discipline.
This prize is intended to become the premier award of recognition by the academic institution we represent. Due to the prestige of the winners, it will be announced shortly through the media with the notoriety this deserves.

The Asociación Española de Historia Económica (AEHE) has awarded Gonzalo Anes y Alvarez de Castrillón, Josep Fontana i Lázaro, Jordi Nadal i Oller and Gabriel Tortella Casares with the Award for Outstanding Academic Achievement for their valuable scientific and academic contribution and to the promotion of economic history.
